Vishver Rangayathanaya is a professional dance school located in Melbourne conducting dancing classes primarily in classical Sri Lankan dancing. The school is dedicated to nurture and develop Sri Lankan dancing culture in Melbourne. More than 150 students, ages ranging from about 5 to 20, are undergoing continuous and rigorous training on a number of classical dance forms.
The dancing styles include Up-country (Udarata or Kandyan), Low-country (Pahatharata) and Sabaragamu dancing styles. The dance school also undertakes classes in Indian classical dance style Bharatha Natyam.
